The Lake District National Park has walks for every ability from ambles around lakes to high ridge walks. Road cyclists and mountain bikers are spoilt for choice in the Lake District National Park. There are country lanes, permitted cycleways and bridleways with some fantastic views! For mountain bikers, Whinlatter Forest and Grizedale Forest (open in new window) are criss-crossed with routes ranging from those suitable for beginners to more challenging levels.

Baggage Transfer Service

For walkers & cyclists, we can offer a baggage transfer service between bed & breakfast establishments, guest houses and hotels. We will transfer your baggage between each overnight stop – if you leave your baggage at the accommodation when you set off in the morning, it will be moved on to your next B&B. You only need to carry a small day sack with the clothes and provisions you require during the day.

Wherever you are along your chosen route, you can benefit from our baggage transfer service to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable walk or cycle ride, unencumbered by heavy baggage. We will take every care with your luggage, keeping it secure in transit. Our service is efficient & reliable.

Return Transport

We can also arrange your transfer back to your car.
